Itinerary

Day 1 LJUBLJANA SIGHTSEEING – BOAT RIDE - CASTLE
Ljubljana is the green capital of a green country. The image of the town by a river with picturesque bridges and a marketplace was designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik. The town of a thousand events is surrounded by parks and natural protected areas. 

Day 2 LJUBLJANA – KAMNIK – VELIKA PLANINA – SPA SNOVIK
Kamnik is a medieval town with two castles, a monastery and a colourful street lined with artisan workshops.

Velika planina
Green pastures of the mountain plateau in the heart of the Kamnik Alps. Hike to the herdsmen’s settlementand and feel the simple way of the herdsmen’s life, taste their dairy products and admire the unique architecture of the cottages which define Velika planina.
Spa Snovik 
The 3,2 km long barefoot path is equiped with 12 exercise elements. The path leads on pasture, sand, through forest and other natural materials. On the way, you can make other Kneipp therapies, like hand bath or stork walk in the stream as well.

Day 3 BLED – VINTGAR GORGE – BLED CASTLE – BLED ISLAND
Bled is an image of paradise. This tourist gem of global dimensions on the edge of the Triglav National Park was nominated one of the seven new wonders of the world. It is distinguished by a mild, healing climate and thermal springs of lake water.

Vintgar gorge
The 1.6 km long Vintgar gorge carves its way through the vertical rocks of the Hom and Boršt hills and is graced by the Radovna with its waterfalls, pools and rapids. The educational trail leads you over wooden bridges and Žumr’s galleries, and ends with a bridge overlooking the mighty 13 m high Šum waterfall.
Bled Castle
A picture that won’t easily escape your memory: a romantic lake with an island, dominated by a mighty castle on a steep cliff. Bled Castle will impress you with an astonishing view, a smithy, a printing press, a Knight's Hall, and a castle chapel.
Bled Island
Traditional wooden boats – pletnas – have been taking visitors to the island in the middle of the lake for centuries. These boats are operated by standing rowers known as pletnars. After landing, guests climb 99 stone steps to reach the Assumption of Mary Church. Listen to the church bell and ring it yourself. Legend has it that this will make your wishes come true.

Day 4 BLED – TRIGLAV NATIONAL PARK (BOHINJ – VOGEL – SAVICA WATERFALL)
Enjoy the treasury of nature in Slovenia’s only, yet undeniably incredible, national park. It was named after Mt. Triglav, the tallest Slovenian peak (2,864 m). Embraced by an idyllic Alpine landscape, visit glacial valleys, inviting villages, verdant forests, Alpine flowers, and mountain pastures.

Savica waterfall
The Savica waterfall is an icon of Bohinj tourism, and it has great historical meaning for Slovenes and is an exceptional source of inspiration. One of the most beautiful paeans to the waterfall is the poem Baptism at Savica, by the great Slovenian poet France Prešeren.

Day 5 BLED – RADOVNA VALLEY – MOJSTRANA – SLOVENIAN ALPINE MUSEUM - KRANJSKA GORA

Among the most beautiful Alpine valleys defenitly belong the valley of river Radovna, in which are flown together two other valleys, Kot and Krma. This area is spread in the Triglav National Park, who partly limited the development for massive tourism and traffic.

Day 6 KRANJSKA GORA – PLANICA – TAMAR
Planica
One valley, two important milestones in history of ski jumping. We can say it with certainty, Planica can be to blame for the biggest shift in our mentality – thinking that a man can fly on skis. This is where two legends jumped over 100 and 200 metres for the first time in history.

Day 7 KRANJSKA GORA – SOČA VALLEY – RAFTING - ZIPLINE
The Soča Valley is the leading outdoor destination in Slovenia, it is a valley of action, festivals and discoveries. The emerald green river enables various water sports and numerous thematic trails run along the river that uncover the heritage of the First World War as well as other stories of the valley.
Rafting
Rafting in the Soča Valley is one of those active trips that simply must be ticked off your adventure list. There are no special skills required for rafting except swimming.
Zipline - the Biggest Zipline Park in Europe
Are you ready for a 4.5 kilometre trip on the steel cables above the picturesque protected area of the Učja Gorge? Ten steel cables, with a length of 250 to 600 metres, ascend to the vertiginous 200 metres over the Učja river and offer unique views of the Bovec Basin and the peaks of the Julian Alps. The gorge and its surroundings belong to the NATURA 2000 area, which preserves rare plant and animal species and habitats on the European level.

Day 8 KOBARID – HISTORICAL TRAIL (Italian charnel house – Kozjak waterfalls – Napoleon bridge – Kobarid museum)
Charming Kobarid is quainter than nearby Bovec, and despite being surrounded by mountain peaks it feels more Mediterranean than Alpine, with an Italianate look.

The famous museum about the findings during the First World War received the highest national certificate for museums, the Council of Europe Museum Prize and was nominated for the European Museum of the Year Award.
Kozjak waterfalls
The most mysterious of Slovenia’s waterfalls. The Kozjak waterfall, which plunges into a rocky amphitheatre below the Krn range, is a mystical place that will stimulate your imagination. This magnificent 15-metre waterfall takes the stage in a hollowed-out underground hall.
